VO Workshop for Kids – (online only)

No equipment required — other than computer and internet connection. We talk about gear… but no pressure to buy anything. We keep this FUN!

Come learn all about the art of voice acting! Enjoy all kinds of scripts — from animation and cartoon scripts to commercials and audiobooks. No special equipment required! Just a computer and a mic.

D&D Adventure!!

Dungeons and Dragons Adventure! New adventures starting continuing into 2021.

Recommend ages 10-18. $325

Learn how to voice amazing characters AND play D&D during break. We have had campaigns running (with the same kids) since July. And it’s…. the BEST escape ever!!! Please join us in our new campaigns. Note — this is not a VO class. This is a roll playing camp for students who want to try VO voices as they play the game Dungeons and Dragons.

And… if your kid is under 10, they need to have some experience with the game and be okay in a three hour long game each week. We will consider younger on a case by case basis. If your child has never played, we will set up an additional training session. Note- D&D Camps only have max 6 participants to keep the game moving along.

About your instructor:

Shana Pennington-Baird toured with the Missoula Children’s Theatre and has 25+ years working in theatre. She has worked with hundreds of kids through workshops at Studio East, MCT and Seattle Voice Academy. She is also unexpectedly homeschooling her 9-year old. So she knows kids need an outlet right now.

Demo Reels for Kids

We can produce professional demos when kids are ready. That said, know their voices are going to change, so we keep it as inexpensive as possible knowing you’ll have to do more in a couple of years. This cost covers the director, studio and sound design.
